The environment was impeccable, starting with their customer service, check in was very helpful, made us feel welcome. Now our room was something else, takes you back to early days of when the Queen Mary was an active elegant roaring beast no other boat will ever top this Queen. I said what I said!! Our sleep at the Queen Mary was out of this world very old school furniture automatically took us back to when she was in her prime a time capsule id say from original cabinets, doors, fans, and even lights I’d say the cherry on top was the view we got from our windows you can clearly see why the Queen Mary stands tall and will stand for many generations to come!!! Huge shoutout to the staff very friendly and a amazing environment is always the perfect recipe for an amazing memory..

Room was clean, big, and ok. Kinda bummed I've stayed there so often and never had a refurbished room. Its kind of just a dated hotel room. There were some nice touches, like a post card and ear plugs. Note: We stayed during Dark Harbor and there is little to no soundproofing (something that was not needed during its sailing days, due to the engine) and they push the sound curfew to 1am. We were fine because we happy to see they are having popular events and want to keep supporting the preservation funding they would get. Also, the staff warned us and did offer to move us if the sound was too much, though options were limited. The restaurant was great, though the menu is limited. The staffing there was great.

Please let people staying know there is a carnival going on outside before coming. The squeaks were so loud in the room, between that and the carnival, we didn’t sleep. The history and property were fun. Food options were decent.

Our stay at the Queen Mary was so much fun! I loved being on the ship, learning about her history! Our room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The bar is iconic, so cool, loved the art deco feel and felt like stepping back in time honestly. Breakfast at the Promenade Cafe was yummy with a beautiful view of the water and Long Beach. I'll definitely come back!

Fun Night Before A Cruise

We were simply staying one night before boarding a cruise. The Queen Mary was a fun way to start the cruise. We took the 2 hour ghost tour, which was fun but didn't go to many more places than you can access on your own with a self-guided tour of the hotel. We did not experience anything paranormal. We stayed in an interior cabin and it was larger than we were expecting. The Queen Mary was having a Halloween event, but we did not have any noise issues in our stateroom.

When you pay good money, your handicapped and only 1 elevator is in operation and staffs answer to you when you question the status of fixing the elevators and their response is " It takes money to fix it"....well that says it all

Room was as expected, beds were what you would expect of hotel beds, we were on the harbor side of the ship so could not hear the carnival going on, on the other side. Food was good, was a bit pricey. Tours closed early so we did not get to experience those.
