It’s a nice historic boat not within walking distance to restaurants so you have to Uber. I was there 3 nights and no one cleaned the room. The room was really crooked so I slept with my head at the foot side. Also it confusing on how to get out

Historic Hotel but Cold and Expensive!

Overall we enjoyed staying at the Queen Mary simply because it’s such a historic place to visit, however our comfort level was low because our room was so cold! We stayed warm at night under the covers but the mornings were especially cold when we had to get out of the bed! Unfortunately the bathroom wasn’t very clean; the area behind the toilet was dirty. Granted, it’s an old toilet and some of it was just rust but it was also dirty. Also, the shower had long black hair stuck on the wall. I just wiped the wall clean myself, as I was told at check-in that they don’t clean the rooms until you leave. One night I accidentally dropped a cup of water on the floor next to the bed so I laid a bath towel on top of it to soak up the water. The next morning I removed the towel to hang it up and noticed how dirty it was. The towel must have soaked up dirt from the carpet which indicated to me that they need to clean the room carpets more often. The dining room food tasted great but was very pricey. The wait staff was friendly. The front desk staff were also friendly and informative. The hotel in general is quite expensive to stay at however the location to the cruise port, the free bus to Shoreline Village, the views, and the historic value of the Queen Mary made for a very memorable 3 night stay.

Loved everything about our stay on The Queen Mary. We arrived the day before our cruise and took advantage of the location for our stay. The Queen Mary staff were extremely polite and so attentive to guests. We felt like first class passengers on the very nicely refurbished ship. Lunch at the Promenade Cafe was delicious and evening drinks at the Observation Bar were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Our room had 2 very comfortable queen beds. A huge bonus was when we called for a bellman to help with our bags for checkout he offered to bring them directly to the cruise porter at the ship terminal. So many great details to express but I recommend seeing for yourself 😊. Very pleased guest!

Great historic opportunity to stay here. Took the paranormal tour and it was fabulous. Dining at the Chelsea chowder room was just tops. Bedroom was noisy because of neighbors next door. Had to call front desk once - walls are very thin, but we knew this and wanted the experience anyways

The thought of spending the day and sleeping in a museum was a once in a lifetime opportunity (well, maybe more than once since we will surely be back). Enjoyed a paranormal tour in the evening. The restaurants were also great, a bit pricy but the food quality was worth the price. The Starbucks was a bit of a disappointment, they did not have any espresso based drinks.
