Staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. The whole hotel had a nice relaxed vibe while the decor and feel was luxury. The rooftop pool and restaurant were very cool lots of fun spaces to hang out in. Loved it.

We loved our stay at the Proper. Everyone was so nice and the room was so clean, elevated and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again!

Just ok, but not the luxury experience promised.

Hotel was just ok. My ‘terrace’ room was next to some ghastly room with people walking through the ‘gardens’ to get to the terrace next door and whatever was going on inside. I asked to move and was clearly punished with a room with a terrace that faced into a dim internal courtyard. Not the luxury experience promised and so I won’t be back.
