Great location, clean and comfortable room. Room temp was good, friendly staff and good amenities. The only negative stopping stars was the water pressure in the bathroom for both the sink and shower. Excellent spot for exploring the pier with plenty of eating options and bike hire very close by.

The hotel was clean, well kept, and had a nice view of the beach. However, getting a hold of the front desk was difficult and inconvenient. Not all charges were included and we ended paying more than we expected.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now and both experiences have been amazing. We’ve stayed with 2 dogs before and it was an easy check in and out. It is right across the street from the Santa Monica boardwalk and has a ton of restaurants and shops nearby you can just walk to. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I love their showers!! There is minor noise which is normal anywhere. The front desk staff is so nice and polite and always helpful. This is for sure my go to hotel while in Santa Monica.

I stay at Ocean View Hotel every three months for business, and it never disappoints. The service is consistent, the location is perfect, and the ocean-view rooms with private balconies are unbeatable for the price. The front desk staff are some of the nicest and most accommodating people you’ll meet. If you don’t need extras like a pool or spa, this boutique hotel is a go-to.
