We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Ocean View Hotel in Santa Monica! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Heidi, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Her kindness really set the tone for our visit. A few months ago, we had the same exceptional experience with Joy, which is the main reason we decided to return to this hotel. We were delighted to see her again as we were leaving — she was just as pleasant, friendly, and genuine as she was during our first stay. Encounters like these truly make us feel at home, and we now consider this hotel our home away from home whenever we’re in Santa Monica. The only thing that could make our stay even better would be if the rooms had a microwave for added convenience, and perhaps an incentive program for repeat guests, such as complimentary parking. These small touches would be the perfect finishing detail to an already outstanding experience. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the service, hospitality, and comfort at the Ocean View Hotel. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location for prime Santa Monica experience. The Shore Hotel perfectly delivers on a clean, modern, and walkable oceanfront stay. It's situated directly across from the beach and steps from the Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade. Guest rooms are bright and frequently offer stunning ocean views from private balconies. It is highly convenient, though expect a lively atmosphere (and premium price/parking) due to its central, desirable location.
