Avoid like Leprosy!!!

Confirmed the check in at 10:30 am over the phone to arrive at 19:30 Got a phone call informing the property is not available and have been relocated to a different neighbourhood to a substandard property. The new property had no decoration, it was dirty, full of skid marks throughout. One bed had the base absolutely destroyed so reported and had to sleep 2 nights with the mattress on the floor. No bath matts, no mop, noisy as hell as leading to the main road. Not the owner or hotels.com wanted to assist and had to pay the same price as the alternative was to book something last minute at 3500£ (from a £600 booking) It took a few good messages and a couple of hours on the phone to get things sorted. 5 phone calls to hotels.com!!! Because they were doing a system upgrade and “Could not assist customers as they could not pull up their records” disgusting treatment from this money grabbers!!! They have lost a 8 years customer!
