⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (If only 6 stars were possible!) I would rate the Virgin Hotel greater than 5 stars if I could! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Our room was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly appointed with everything we could need — proof that bigger isn’t always better! A special shoutout to the hotel’s general manager, David, who went above and beyond to smooth our travels for the next day by arranging a car service to our next destination, 2.5 hours outside of London. We had naively assumed that black cabs would take us that far, but David’s quick assistance saved the day. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations — from the comfort of the room to the exceptional hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

Moldy gym & cooking oil air pollution in lobby/bar

Could be great but we didn’t use the gym as the basement was moldy (classic Shoreditch mold problem) and the staff seemed blissfully unaware / unconcerned. Also the bar is beautiful but you couldn’t be in there as the air was thick with oil fumes coming from the kitchen. They seem really unconcerned with the health of their guests trying to minimise these issues and even gaslighting us into trying to make out they didn’t exist. For that reason we don’t be going back.

Quite good…but not as good as expected

Room was ok. Bed leaves little room to get past, for the person sleeping on the far side. Staff in bar were really good, breakfast on the rooftop was a bit slow, and one thing from the order got missed. Overall, a bit disappointing compared to the Edinburgh hotel

Had a great stay - easy to get to tube and although the area directly around the hotel looks a bit rough I still felt safe and there was much going on within an easy walk.

Loved everything about the Virgin Hotel. It has a warm welcoming feel and the staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. Rooms are lovely, super clean and well equipped. Amenities are fabulous, Hidden Grooves bar is fabulous & roof top pool a bonus. Location is brilliant, within walking distance to everything. Shoreditch is a great place to stay and I would not hesitate to return to the Virgin Hotel. Kudos to your staff they are an asset to your business.
