This is not a hotel.

This is not a hotel. This place was advertised as a 4 star hotel. It was a dormitory. I was surprised and quite disappointed because I thought I was booking a hotel not a summer accommodation in a dormitory. On top of it we were given a handicap room to stay at without a door handle and a proper bathroom. It was very disappointing experience. The only good thing was a location.

The staff that served me was excellent. The room itself is small and barely had any ventilation as it only had a tiny small desk fan, no AC and a window that barely opens. The bed is cheap and uncomfortable but it’s practical. There is lots of room to store things which is good. The bathroom is standard and a good design. The area is excellent for transportation, things to do as you are right next to the a few museums. The accommodation is for students which makes more sense but this isn’t stated on the listing. But the staff member that helped me was very lovely

Wonderful student accommodation in the heart of London. Fabulous staff. Really recommend this summer accomodation option for those whose budget isn't huge, but want somewhere safe, affordable, and friendly.

The location was fantastic for seeing a concert in the Royal Albert Hall. The staff are very friendly and having a shop on the campus was very helpful. The room is basic but perfectly suitable as somewhere safe and comfortable to sleep and get ready. It is student accommodation majority of the year so it will have scuffs and scratches and won’t be spotlessly clean. But if you need somewhere comfortable to sleep and get ready before heading out, then I’d very much recommend it.

I booked this thinking it was a hotel. What it actually is is student accommodation. The rooms are beyond basic, no T.V no fridge, hairdryer etc. Very uncomfortable small bed . It is however situated in a first class position for all that South Kensington offers, close to tube and museums and plenty of places to eat and drink

Note, this is a college dormitory at Imperial College in London. They rent rooms when classes are not in session or during off periods. However, there will be students there. The room is not much, no A/C, tiny bathroom. However, you can walk to great pubs, the Natural History Museum, and South Kensington Station.
