The property was perfectly located right outside the Tower Hill tube stop and I got to see the Tower of London just outside the door every day, which is one of my favorite London sights. Hotel was clean and the desk staff was friendly. The desk staff offered additional benefits and tried to accommodate us when things didn't go as expected (see below). The pool was a nice bonus although, I wish the family hours were a bit more flexible. The breakfast buffet was great too. The maid/cleaning staff was very unsatisfactory. They contributed to us getting in the room late at check-in, even when I requested to get in earlier if possible. They wouldn't answer the phone for the front desk staff when they called to check on the status repeatedly. Also, the first day we requested cleaning, they took our tip from the room, and didn't clean it! I had to call down to the desk about it and they offered fresh towels and apologized. The cleaning staff ended up coming that evening again as we were leaving for dinner. That experience on top of the late check-in made us feel very uneasy about using the cleaning services again and left a bad taste. Other than the poor cleaning service, I'd recommend the hotel again.

Great location as walking distance to London bridge. The tube is right next to it which makes this a great location. Hotel is a bit tired looking and feel a bit worn out. The rooms are decent. Beds are very comfortable. Room itself is clean. Other public area is ok. The pool closes at 9 pm which is quite early in our perspective and couldn’t take enjoy the pool.

It's a great place and would stay again. Our ac stopped working and they switch us to a different room quickly. It's not super close to the air port but only you arrive it's great location. I also would recommend taking the tube to the airport because it's right beside the hotel. The hotel was beautiful and the pool is huge and having the steam room and sauna was a huge plus for us. We would definitely stay again.

Birthday treat sray over in London after seeing a

Great stay, in the end! Nice big room, comfy beds, pool area lovely. The only down side was the showerr door didnt shut properly so water escaped making floor dangerously slippy and wet. Also upon arrival room wasn't ready at 3pm when check in started and we had a show booked to get to. Receptionist wouldn't check us in or give door keys and ee had a further 20 min wait and had to que for a second time. Not a very welcoming experience, plus it was a birthday treat that they were aware of so this start wasnt the best impression.

The pros: Spa very nice and not too busy. Breakfast great lots of choice, well replenished even towards the end of service, fresh omelette station great. Lobby area nice and bar nice. The cons: Room was disappointing. The double room really isn’t appropriate for 2 people to stay in, very small bed that is uncomfortable for two adults. The bathroom is run down and shabby, not seen an upgrade in a long time. Tiles so old they look dirty and fixtures very dated. Feels like a 3* at best. The plug sockets by the bedside table didn't work so faff charging phones. Mini fridge was locked so didn’t get to benefit from this. No clue why wasn’t mentioned at check in. Expedia rewards benefits not honoured no 20% credit on food or drink etc.

I was disappointed with our room , not good value for what was supposed to ge a superior room. Air conditioning was working so the room was roasting, eventually ater an hour the hotel sorted a fan. The bath shower combination is dated and not suitable for everyone.

Intrusion into the room at 9am by cleaner, and then 10am by a porter, after late night not much sleep and despite lock, do not disturb, not safe or secure. Minibar despite leaving credit card was still locked. A/c not working, windows sealed could not open.

Stayed in a Superior Double Room. It was really dated and needed upgrading. Backed on to a really noisy courtyard. The shower screen was completely broken so couldn't shower and had to wait for the hotel maintenance to come and fix/replace it. Then the lights stopped working in the room. The spa/pool area was packed all the time with guests, so unable to use it. Check In was 3pm, so had to wait hours to check in. Paid for two nights and additional for breakfast, but in checking out asked for a concession as only had one breakfast and room issues and the check out lady, totally dismissed it and refused to refund the breakfast, defaulting if you want to complain here is the email address, BYE!!! No customer service at all. Really dissatisfied considering over £200 a night for a basic room.
