The location is perfect! Literally across the street from tube station. Convenient markets and restaurants are right there! I’ve used this hotel multiple times and something was “off” about this trip. Although, I made a mistake with dates by one day and Ned to extend my trip, I found the hotel desk staff somewhat difficult and not helpful. I would go as far as saying somewhat aggressive in wanting me to check my personal email in front of them so that they could ensure I signed up for their Millennium Rewards Account. It was all very odd. Although it is an ideal location, I’m likely to look at other options next trip. Maybe they have new staff or management.

Old building which is fine however light from hallway visible through closed door a sign of lack of care. Deluxe room bathroom unacceptably small. Road traffic noise unacceptable. Bar and restaurant area uninspiring.

There was an almighty banging noise for about 5 minutes early in the morning which woke us up. We initially thought it was someone doing building work and drilling but it seems like it was in fact the plumbing. We think there is perhaps an air lock and when the neighbouring room had a shower it made an almighty noise. We think this because our room (205) suffered the same when we had a shower. Took the edge off what was a pleasant stay
