This was a terrible experience! Do not stay here. The front desk person was rude. Our room was in the basement, the ceiling had a leak, the sink did not drain. The shower was so small, you could not turn around. I asked to be moved to another room as we were staying there for 6 days. I was told NO! Upon checkout, at 11:05 as we were leaving the room, the same rude staff person was at our door making sure we were leaving.

Reception manager was extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. The location is very good, convenient for Paddington but also quite, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and a few minutes from Hyde Park. The building is tastefully renovated and very clean.

There aren’t any elevators/lifts. That’s not too much of a problem despite having a lot of luggage for our type of trip. However the hallways are narrow. There’s a surcharge for breakfast which I wasn’t aware of. I decided to spend money elsewhere for breakfast instead of the hotel’s since theirs was sparse. A decent place to rest my head. Would I choose a different hotel next time? Yes.

Lovely hotel, very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, whilst still being professional. An easy walk between Queensway and Paddington tube stations, lots of restaurants, cafes and small shops nearby, but immediate area is quiet and peaceful. Hyde park is nearby, a good location.

Very clean, usable room. Light and bright. Decent space for price. Nice location. Down side, 3rd floor is 4 1/2 steep flights of stairs. No elevator. Recommend showering at night. We had no hot water either morning. Having said that, I would definitely stay there again. Loved sleeping with the window open with the autumn breeze.

There was no curtain on my bedroom window and whilst I appreciate such repairs cannot happen immediately, no makeshift window covering was offered and as a result I was awoken at sunrise. My friends room had rain coming through the ceiling onto her bed and whilst they moved and changed the bed the ceiling wasn’t repaired and therefore risked it happening again. Having subsequently read online reviews it would appear this has been an issue for weeks. The single rooms all appear to be on the 4th floor and there is no lift available. Which is unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Quiet, comfortable bed, room smelled a little musty at first. It was much better after we closed the window. Layout of hotel was weird. So many stairs and doors. It was a labyrinth. In case of a fire couldn't get out fast enough.

The hotel was cute and comfortable. There is no elevator so you do have to carry your bags up and downstairs. The bathroom shower was small.

It was very nice, we encounter an episode with an unhappy customer who was suggesting to find a different hotel, we decided to keep our reservation and were glad, we did! Please don’t go by the reviews, people sometimes are mean and bad review could ruin a business, just because things don’t go their way, we had an amazing stay!

Absolutely horrible experience. No help from management after there was literally yellow “water” leaking from our ceiling onto one of the beds. Their “solution” was to have the people directly above us stop their shower. When I went to ask for help again because it continued no one was to be found to help. Tried contacting management about a refund as we did not want to continue our stay given the circumstances and still have yet to hear back.
