However, our cleaning and management company charges £30 for early check-in and £12 for bag drop-off to get this organize with the cleaning team.

If you’re looking for a place to stay during Wireless Festival, this is a decent option. It’s affordable, a very short walk to the park, and generally a fine stay.
All the listed amenities were provided, and the host generously stocked the place with shower essentials, extension leads, plenty of towels, and cleaning supplies — all of which were appreciated.
However, communication was an issue. I booked through Expedia, but messages were apparently being sent via Vrbo, which I couldn’t access. I had to call and message different numbers to get updates and ended up receiving them by text — not ideal.
Check-in was another problem. I arrived at 3:45pm (check-in stated as 3pm), only to find the lockbox open and the key missing. I tried calling both the host’s number and the one sending texts — no answer. It was a scorching day, and I’d travelled two hours, only to be stuck outside. The host’s notes had emphasized not disturbing neighbours, but I had no choice but to ring the bell. A cleaner, who didn’t speak English, let me in. The floors were still wet, and laundry was ongoing. I had to wait another 15 minutes as they finished — not acceptable when check-in was well past due.
The flat itself is a little worn (cracked walls, water stains), but the location is excellent for Finsbury Park events. Had the check-in and communication gone smoothly, the stay would’ve been much better and my overall experience would’ve been more well rounded :)
