Can’t say enough positive about our stay. The location is great with easy connections at Paddington and proximity to Hyde Park. We easily mad the walk to Buckingham several times. Appreciated the breakfast and the kind ladies that worked the breakfast area. I would stay again and recommend to others. Very good experience!

The rooms arw very small. If i had known i probably would have lokked for anoth option. It walking proximity to Paddington Station was nice to catch the train to Heathrow. The morning buffet was nothing special. No eggs or sausages. The front desk clerk was helpful.

Lovely stay at The Athena

We had a two night stay at the Athena and found it very clean and well-presented. In spite of it being a lower ground floor room, it was pleasant and well lit. The staff were friendly and helpful (it was during the Tube strike!) but we managed to find our way around. The Continental breakfast was substantial and very good value and the hotel was a short walk from Paddington station. Would recommend.

The location near Paddington Station and restaurants was great. The room was very warm and the window would not stay open. The shower had a leak and sprayed everywhere. Disappointing.

We stayed at the Athena due to its proximity to Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express. We found it very walkable to many places including, Hyde Park, Soho, Notting Hill, Museums and Harrods. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a couple of small issues in our room and the staff fixed them right away. Would recommend this hotel.

Hotels near to Paddington making it a good location. Room was however very basic and not comfortable. The price as what you’d expect to pay in London but next time we will look to pay more for better accommodation.
