This is a lovely, older style hotel in a very lovely location. Our room was larger than most you will find in the area, and had an outdoor terrace and double glass doors, making the room bright and pleasant, The bathroom was also a very generous size. Comfortable beds, nice linens, very friendly and helpful staff, We felt quite at home here for 5 nights.

Lovely warm welcome. Lovely room, except for the very soft mattress, dirty carpet and the chipped enamel bath. Breakfast was delicious. Efficient warm and friendly staff in attendance.

Simple decor, neat, spacious reception area, easy check in and out. Very efficient. Freindly staff. Lovely breakfast food, selection and dining area. Reasonably priced. Good standard room. Cleaned each day, with good quality towels and bed linen. Slight criticisms would be a tiny lift that barely fit my husband and I and 2 small cases and there were no hooks anywhere for coats and towels etc in the room. We also only had 4 hangers for clothes between us, which frustrated me a bit. We did request more, but the hotel was full as it was the Wimbledon finals weekend, so we didn't hear anything back on the request. I would definitely go back but would possibly upgrade my room.

The Staff were extremely friendly and energetic. Everyone was very helpful. The receptionist recommended a lovely restaurant close by for dinner. Got upgraded to a suite, very happy customers.
