Great location, BUT...
The location is great for beach and the art festivals, but this is not a quality hotel. The room was completely unadorned (no pictures or art). Walls were poorly patched. Dresser would not open. The room was just pretty beat up. Our refrigerator leaked, and we called the front desk, but no one ever came, so we dealt with wet carpet all weekend. Our room was not made up on Saturday, and when I called, they said they would send fresh towels. I called three times, they never sent towels, so I had to go find a housekeeper (towels finally came, way too late). Think twice and shop around. I would not stay there again.

A very outdated motel like with run down bldgs and fixtures. AC units are rusted, doors don’t lock well and hang of hinges, balconies are rusted with outdated furniture, showers are old and leaking. only good thing is location and proximity to the beach.

Great Value for Money
Very pleasant, couteous staff. Terrific location close to everything. The concierge checked us into our room early and did not even charge us. Room was basic but very clean. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of fresh towels. When we walked to the adjacent beach, we were greeted with two chaise lounges and fresh beach towels. All in all a great stay. I would come back! :)

I was shocked by the size and condition of our room. The bathroom was ridiculously small and dated and cheap. Carpet was disgusting. Like an old school dorm room but worse. Not at all what I was led to expect and not at all worth the nearly $500 we paid for it. I guess they think their location allows the to get away with this.

Had an ocean view room, would half to say view was unbelievable had chairs and a table. If you just need to get away and relieve everyday stress? This is the place the view off the balcony unbelievable. Seen Dolphins and a cpl whales

misleading descriptions of rooms. It says "Villa 2 Double Beds", but when we checked in it is just a small room without evening a descent desk and closet. Worse thing is the room, matter of fact the entire hotel is on the main street of Laguna Beach so alot of cars drives by and it is very noisy. and inside the room there is a door we cannot access to and our neighbor is behind that door and we can clearly hear them. so sound proofing of this hotel is terrible. Laguna Beach seems to be a tourist area. so the price/value will not be so good. Expect paying for more to get less.

Where do I even begin? We intended to stay just one night, but it was a disaster from the start. The staff were indifferent and unhelpful. I was furious when the cleaning staff next door started screaming at each other at 6 AM. The bathroom was filthy, the TV speakers were blown, the phone didn't work, and the pool was disgusting. When I reported these issues, the front desk staff were completely unapologetic. One staff member just looked at me dismissively, rolled his eyes and walked away. The front desk’s response to all this was “you have a cell phone right?” Rude and unprofessional. Who ever the workers were the morning of 7.13.24 where even worst than the night prior.
