Booked a room that stated ocean view or partial sea view. Upon arrival to my room the only view I got was of the room across. When I went to let front desk know, I was told I had to call to request that room and that those rooms were all booked for the night. This indication was not listed on here. Didn’t even try to help or at least a discount for the inconvenience. I would not come back.

Great location but cold!!!!

GREAT location. Beautiful rooftop. Wonderful staff. Room was tiny, freezing and paper thin walls with lots of noise from other guests. The heater was not working, bathroom window stuck open with pouring rain and howling wind whipping through the room very thin bedding which would be perfect in most socal seasons but not during my stay without heat. The desk brought me extra blankets and a space heater on my second day. It was reasonably priced, location was perfect and parking was good so if the price was cheap enough (and not bad weather) I’d be tempted to stay again. Bring something warm to sleep in.

Rooms are very small. They say the rooms were just renovated, but they were not in good condition. Windows are very old and could hear the street noise all night.

Lovely older hotel in Laguna Beach

Lovely older hotel with an amazing refurbished lobby. The hotel had a rooftop bar and restaurant, but service was poor. They lost our reservation, we had to wait for drinks and food. We mentioned the wait to manager and she addressed it.

Great Hotel on the Beach

This was an amazing little Hotel right on the beach in Laguna. I was attending a wedding and they allowed me an early check-in to change and get to my event on time. There is a parking lot for guests and I loved that I didn't have to hassle trying to park. Fresh coffee in the hall in the morning. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you staff!

The parking was off site up a hill. Not great for a retired disabled person. The room was TINY and bathroom tinier. My room was definitely a one person (small). The bed was comfortable. The HVAC unit was not that easy to use. The sink handle was loose. The window in the shower wouldn't close because the handle just spun.

Perfectly Romantic Beach Staycation

Great staycation with the hubby for Valentine’s Day! We checked in a little early. Our room had an ocean view, bathrobes, and all the necessities. The Spanish room decor was very classy with some heavy carved furniture and massive headboard. They don’t have central heating/AC but they provide a portable heater which was stored in the closet. The bathroom seemed like it was recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. The room had a fridge where I kept the chocolate dipped strawberry desserts I bought downtown, next to the IG famous gelato shop . Everything is walking distance from there, which was great! The hubs and I went for an evening stroll, took sunset photos on the beach and walked around downtown. My favorite part of the hotel was the rooftop bar. I just wish it was open for brunch as well. The sunset view was stunning! The food was served tapas style: fish tacos and calamari were delish, and the drinks were top notch! Got the strawberry mojitos which they made specially for me. I’m sure it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s nice to be accommodated. Service was fast and very friendly. Definitely not snobs like many of the businesses out there. The CSRs and even the guests gave me a chill Huntington Beach vibe. We didn’t go down to eat at the cafe, as it seemed empty and the ambiance on the rooftop was very pleasant. Would definitely come back again!
