Mount Batur is the biggest landmark in the area and is an incredible sight. It’s an active volcano, which has erupted 24 times since 1800. Today it's only a small volcano, and regardless of how massive the giant crater looks it's still relatively safe. Wrap up your day with a trip to Ubud Palace Temple and see the fiery Kecak dance, which is accompanied by a 50 man chorus and is considered the crowning glory of traditional Balinese dance.
