I've stayed here several times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great vibe block to the subway, right by Central Park and Museum of Natural History. Walk to lots of places on the West Side.

We have stayed at the Lucerne several times since 2002 and will return. We enjoy the neighborhood vibe of the Upper West Side and the Lucerne is conveniently located near Central Park, great restaurants and interesting shopping. Subway stations are conveniently located one block away at the corner of 79th Street and Broadway and at the corner of 81st Street and Central Park West. The hotel itself is clean and quiet and staff is professional and helpful. We are more than pleased with The Lucerne Hotel.

Very nice hotel, reminds me of a hotel in Paris. Rooms are nice & clean. Good location, away from the hustle & bustle of Times Square, but very conveniently located near the train station. Took just 1 train to get to Broadway & Statue of Liberty. Also only a 5 minute walk to American Museum of Natural History. There’s a 24 hour market right across the street. Will be back & highly recommend!

AC temperature is set at a minimum of 68 and during fall months that isn't low enough for a comfortable sleep. Rooms are very small and bathrooms need updating

Beautiful room and accommodations. There was a clicking sound that came from the AC/fan in both the bedroom and the living area. We kept the fan on at night to keep from hearing the clicking.
