Great spot for family. Great for walking, seaglass hunting, easy into Newport for a Cliff Walk. Take the Rail Explorer ride in Portsmouth - so much fun. House was exactly as stated. Plenty of room for 8 adults and a 2 yr old.

This home was charming, thoughtfully restored and perfect for our girls trip. The location was wonderful as we could easily walk to one of several great restaurants in the evening. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook breakfasts in the morning. The sun porch was a favorite spot for coffee. This location was very convenient for exploring downtown Newport. The 2 showers had enough hot water for all 6 of us to take showers. We would definitely recommend this home to others.

Lovely spot

Our family stayed three nights at Cheryl's place on Jamestown and enjoyed it thoroughly. It perfectly fit our needs, with plenty of comfortable, quiet bedrooms, a spacious, well-stocked kitchen and nice, compact eating and living areas. The location is great, since you can walk to the shops or down to the waterfront in minutes. Decor is simple and welcoming with a very New England feel without being busy or corny. We would definitely return!

Location is perfect

We had a wonderful time. Cheryl the host was so helpful. The house is beautiful, with everything you need for your stay. Walking distance to the ferry and around the corner from restaurants, bars and shops. I will definitely go back next year.

Comfy in Jamestown

Our stay was comfortable and the location was super convenient. We had everything we needed and could walk to numerous restaurants. There were only 4 of us, so having 2 bathrooms was perfect. It was a bonus that we were able to enjoy space in the house as well as outside on the deck. I recommend this rental!
