Hotel is an event venue and more focus is going to event side. Events are loud until 11pm, room doors are loud when closed, can't control heat/ac from your room - need to call the front desk to change thermostat, bed frame is very loud, breakfast is cold cereal, bagels, juice, coffee

The hotel was great. Our only complaint was the music on the property was non stop, louder than I would have liked and not to our taste. Maybe they were trying to get people in the mood for booking a wedding (and wow, what a place for that). I would have been nice, especially in the evening to enjoy the spectacular views without the noise. Other than that it was awesome (and ! would stay there again)

There was a wedding during our stay and the music stopped at 10:30 PM. That was considerate. Young folks (college age) ran up and down the hallways until 3 AM. Only negative thing I can say. A beautiful venue on a wonderful setting. I would return for sure. Thanks, D Conner

For the price of a five-star resort, the experience delivered little more than three-star comfort. The property’s setting is undeniably scenic—nestled amid Newport’s storied outskirts and within easy reach of the grand mansions—but beauty alone cannot disguise the shortcomings within. At $500 per night, expectations naturally rise; yet the reality was underwhelming. The room felt dated, the bed lacked comfort, and the bathroom offered only the most basic amenities. Everything was clean, certainly, but devoid of the charm or coziness that might redeem its simplicity. Even at half the rate, the experience would have been disappointing. At full price, it was verging on absurd. In short, this is a property whose setting promises far more than its execution delivers.
