We had a wonderful visit at the hotel, and it's our second time booking there. The harbor area there can't be beat. The only issue was the parking gate most of the times would not lift for us, and we needed to contact support through the kiosk which sometimes worked and sometimes either no one picked up or hung up on us which is frustrating when there's 2-3 cars waiting behind you. We noticed others having same issue. We finally got it corrected at the main desk the day before leaving after one of us stayed with the car and the other went to the front desk for assistance. . The desk indicated our parking ticket was not connected right from check in and they remediated the problem. The desk did mention that parking support was another business not the hotel.

Room and overall hotel was dated. Small bathroom had very little counter space and had paint peeling from ceiling and baseboards. Toilet paper holder was broken. Switch on wall near entry door did not operate a light but did control the outlet the TV was plugged into creating a mystery as to why the TV wasn't working. Had to call the front desk twice to have someone visit room and explain this oddity. There were several fire doors from the hallways into the fire stairways that did not close properly creating a possible life safety issue for the occupants in a fire/smoke emergency. We wondered when was the last time these doors were checked and repaired ? Appeared like it had been a very long time as the doors were old and inoperable, did not close all the way and latch. Had to pay a daily parking fee of $35 which was not explained when we booked the room. Overall disappointing for the cost of the room $584/night. All the State and Local taxes plus the parking fee added up to $463 for 3 night stay, outrageous. Would not stay here again even though it is in a convenient location.

The staff were excellent, knowledgeable very friendly. The area and location of the property was perfect for walking and shopping and dining. The hotel itself needs a major makeover. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I overheard someone saying they are doing a renovation in a year. Hopefully that’s true because it really is a great location.

Overall very good experience. Most stafff very pleasant. Room very clean but heat ac not working properly. However tech showed us how to temporarily use it. Person who greeted us in arrival not very personable or helpful. All others at reception, restaurant, tech and housekeeping very pleasant and helpful.
