This is a very nice inn located in a very nice neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious. There was nothing special about the decoration and perhaps could use a little updating, however it was a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The included breakfast was good. A great addition would be bottled water.

The room was wonderful, fire place, jetted tub, large patio, and 6 pillows! It was hands down one of the nicest places my husband and I stayed. Breakfast was also great, but that was expected due to all the positive reviews we had read. Unfortunately I think my husband and I got sick from the room we stayed in. We arrived on Sunday, by Wednesday we were both having flu symptoms... mind you, we found a box of Kleenex that had been used by the previous occupants, That should have probably foreshadowed what was to come. sick

The room, foyer, linens, tables, bathroom everything was so clean and fresh. We loved all the thoughtful items: games, dinner drinks, snacks, coffee/teas all day if desired. Walking to downtown to a restaurant, store, hop on,hop off bus, etc within 15 minutes. Breakfast was not rushed and perfect with some extra treats. Most of all this Inn is so organized, they have already figured out whatever you may need.

Angela was so kind and welcoming. This inn felt like home. The breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. We were about a twenty minute walk from the center of Newport. It was far enough away that everything was so quiet. We commented several times that we could not hear anyone in the other rooms coming and going. The common sitting area outside of the dining room was very peaceful. There are afternoon cocktails, and treats served in this room. The smell of fresh baked goods coming from the kitchen is always present. It is easy to see why this inn has won so many awards. I would say the only downside for this inn is if you have any difficulties with stairs, you should book a room on the ground floor. I did not expect our room to be on the 2nd floor and I found it a little difficult getting up and down the outside stairs to the second floor. You cannot go wrong here. We will be back.
