I did not like that you can’t log in to any streaming platforms on the tv and there is no room service or coffee pot in the room. Some people like to have their coffee before having to see the outside world so going into the lobby for coffee that was basically water was definitely not ideal.

Rooms were small, very clean, great location however walls are extremely thin and we were awaken to noise at 6:15 in the morning that continued for hours. Called front desk and after 10 minutes, they came up, but the noise continued. Front desk was not helpful.

Very clean rooms, staff was friendly and helpful, lobby is nice, convenient location, great black-out shades. I highly recommend the valet parking, which i under the hotel, access from the back. Nice outdoor space with a bar/restaurant accessed by exiting the lobby and walking across the deck. However, the rooms were quite small, especially the bathrooms, no closets. Our group of 8 felt that the price was quite high for the room you get in comparison to what we'd get for the same price in Boston. Only coffee/tea/water available in hotel. Tiny although clean fitness room. Large glass water bottle provided for each room along with drinking glasses with self-filling station and ice machine on each floor which was a welcome change compared to the usual high priced basic bottled filtered brand-named water you get at other hotels.

Location location location!

Hammetts is a nice hotel. The location is superb. You can walk to most attractions in Newport, including the beach. There is no onsite restaurant but there are plenty nearby. The rooms are nice but a little small and storage is limited. The staff is friendly & helpful. The pricing is a little steep but not out of line for Newport in peak season. Overall it’s a nice place to stay.
