Only stayed one night, visiting friends locally. Room was simple which was reflected by the cost. Main comment was the bed appeared uncomfortable however we both slept well. We got a value room just what it said on the tin.
Great value, free parking, bar and shop on site. There’s also a bus every 30 mins until 10pm, takes 15 - 20 minutes and only cost us £2 to get into town centre.
It is student digs so don’t expect anything special. But in terms of value, facilities and ease it was great for us. Would use again
The room was smaller than most hotel rooms but cosy enough for our needs. The shared kitchen was spotless with unlimited tea coffee. There was also bread and butter available so we had some toast with our morning brew, so that was a nice bonus. It was a 15 min taxi into holmfirth for the night out, so if you add the taxi fares, the meal and the drinks, this added up to the price just for a room in the centre - so its worth the effort for the reward.
