Cleanest, friendliest and nicest resort I’ve ever stayed at! We just checked out at 11 and we’re still in the resort lobby due to delayed flights. We were given towel cards for the pool, shower access & our luggage being kept with the Bell Hop.

I’m not sure what everyone expects when booking a resort, but to me, it should at least offer a relaxing and complete experience — one that allows you to fully enjoy your vacation even without leaving the property. To begin with, the staff were friendly and polite, the food was decent, and the environment was clean and tidy. However, I didn’t feel that the level of service matched what I would expect from a resort. First of all, this is the smallest resort I’ve ever stayed at. You can walk around the entire property in less than 10 minutes. The overall design and décor were nice, and it’s clear that some areas had been recently renovated. That said, certain fixtures looked old and yellowed, showing their age. But what truly disappointed me was the overall experience of the service. When I checked in, I was assigned a room in the corner next to the emergency exit. As I turned the corner toward my room, I saw a housekeeping staff member sitting in front of my door taking a break. That left a very poor first impression. Once I entered the room, I couldn’t help but feel as if I had been placed there randomly — almost like I was just “put somewhere.” The room was very bare, containing only the most basic amenities, the kind you’d find in a budget or business hotel. Nice resort on the beach. Great week there. Nice room. Restaurants on property had good quality food. Music every night in the common area. Staff very responsive to any concerns. Walking distance to many things like submarine ride , kalakaua ave where there are many shops , restaurants and entertainment. Very nice vow renewal ceremony as well. Only downside is the beach is a little small outside hotel. You can walk a couple minutes and be on bigger public beach.

This property could be great but it is not. On a positive note, it is in a good location and has a nice design. However, some issues make it a subpar stay. First of all, the two most important priorities for any hotel should be cleanliness and comfort. In both of these areas, this property comes up short. Dirty carpets and bathrooms, weak AC, etc. The other major issue is that they only have one pool and don't seem to have any pool attendants to control the kids screaming and constantly jumping in the pool right next to you while their oblivious parents suck on Mai-Tais. Oh, and the beach behind the hotel is more of an afterthought than a prized asset. It a tiny area that is poorly maintained and has no chairs.

It was a lovely place to stay right on Waikiki Beach, wonderful resort with lots of on-site activities, tours that can be booked through them, wonderful staff. Both restaurants had excellent food!
