The room is small as not expected. View is good. Reception staffs are friendly and helpful in upgrading our rooms. Unfortunately, we got free upgrade only on one room only. We booked 2 rooms. The reason for upgrade is original rooms booked are old and outdated in decor. Not exactly as the same as shown in pictures in Expedia.ca.Air ventilation is not good that my daughter has skin irritation due to poor air ventilation. Not happy with it.

Was asked to pay extra to upgrade our room so ended up paying extra. Customer service seems to hv dropped significantly since Dec last yr (we stayed there during our Xmas holiday to Hk too). Staff not as welcoming; smiles wild b nice, they seem to look like they didn’t want to be there. We got a room on the 8th floor considering we had paid a substantial amount. For what we ended up being charged we could hv stayed at Rosewood or something! The room itself was average, its old n worn. The bathroom sink had a chip. The toilets were old looking. This is like hell compared to the heaven on the higher level on which we stayed last time in Dec. What gets me most is the bed, we got bitten every night by dust mites/fleas. Had to put on anti itch every day! The floors were sticky too from day one. The female manager/supervisor of the housekeeping was very unprofessional too. She told off the poor housekeeping lady right in front of hotel guests. If she was to lecture, do it behind closed doors n not in front of hotel guests. The manager/supervisor was also very rude to us demanding us to swipe our room card to proof identity before letting us into our room. I mean it’s fine we understand it’s for security purposes but in future please ask in a nice n professional tone/manner. We r guests not crooks! We had chosen to stay at this hotel for our wedding anniversary due to past positive experiences. But this stay overall was the worse stay this time! Very disappointed.

The facing of the hotel room was not great at all, looking into apartments from the opposite block which is like 100m away. Privacy is compromised. Toilet in the room is rather outdated, water pressure at the basin was rather high, splashing everywhere when turn on to wash hand.
