The property was exactly as expected, and as advertised.The stay was wonderful.It was a bit too far from my friends was the only bump in the road for me.Once I figured out the roads - that too was solved.

We had such a lovely stay here. It was very tranquil peaceful and the hosts were just spectacular. All the little details that these guys add make such a big difference and let me tell you that breakfast that they make, is absolutely delicious. We took our infant, who is only nine months old and our puppy, and they made a little puppy plate and a little plate for our boy. We had such a lovely day and created some fantastic memories and hope to be back. We cannot thank these hosts enough.

we were so pleased with our stay at Hobbit at Canopy Ridge on Gabriola Island. Hosts were incredible, property was adorable and so serene with the wind rustling through the treetopsBreakfasts were delicious. The place was very comfortable and had everything we would ever need - BBQ, blankets, heater outside, snacks. Just perfect! Close to the ferry also

Gabriola getaway

Fantastic location, close to everything and a nice quiet area for walking. The Hobbit had everything we needed and was comfy and so quiet! We really appreciated that dogs are welcome. Gregory, Nancy, Surfer and Tiki are perfect hosts! And the breakfasts......ooooh the breakfasts! : ) We can't wait to stay again.

Best Breakfasts!

We loved our stay at the Hobbit Cottage on Canopy Ridge and our visit to Gabriola Island. Our hosts, Nancy and Gregory greeted us each morning with the most amazing breakfasts and provided many great options for beach and hiking in the area. The cottage is well equipped with cooking appliances and an adjacent patio and bbq area also added to dining in options. Thank you both for your hospitality!

Relaxing stay at The Hobbit

We used The Hobbit as our base for a three night trip for Gabriola. Clean, comfortable and well hosted by an available but privacy-respecting couple (Nancy and Gregory), we really enjoyed out stay. Breakfasts were a nice touch and were well tailored to our considerable dietary needs. Would absolutely stay again.

Magical

Greg and Nancy offer a very beautiful and peaceful Hobbit House to enjoy! 5 They are friendly and full of great information about the island when you feel like chatting and are equally respectful of your privacy when you choose it. Nancy and Gregory are great hosts. They care about your experience and communicate wonderfully. The Hobbit House is a perfect launch pad from which to explore Gabriola. It's warm and comfy, with all the essential amenities. We stayed here last year, and had a great experience. This time was, if anything, better. Warm thanks, Nancy and Gregory!

Bonus breakfasts at The Hobbit

The Hobbit was the perfect spot on Gabriola for my wife, dogs, and myself. Nancy and Gregory were amazing hosts and the breakfasts were a great touch! We will definitely check if the Hobbit is available the next time we need a place t stay on Gabriola!
