We book ended our cruise with a stay here before and after. I much prefer the room we have tonight over the on we had before the cruise. The attached restaurant offers a good selection of pub food and live entertainment in the evening. In summary it fits the need very well for cruises arriving early and staying after.

Great stay for cruisers and travelers

This is a fantastic place to stay if you need shuttles to the airport or the Port. Check in was a but slow but the staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean but slightly dated. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Restaurant on site was good. They were out of a few items on the menu and the food took a long time to come out but overall it was a very busy place and the food was good. There is a small store on site for anything you might need it have forgotten. The breakfast thats included was also very good. Great variety. Coffee was great. The shuttle to the port was very organized and Izzy was entertaining while we waites to board. He got every one on the right bus and was super helpful. I wpuld definitely stay again.

I was very frustrated because there was no close captioning on the TV which I thought with ADA it was required. I also was just looking over my visa bill and they charge me $40 for parking a car that I did not do. When I called them to have it removed, they told me to go ahead and just call my visa company and let them dispute it. Absolutely horrible!

Roadway Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale

I chose this hotel because it was close to the Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port. They offered FREE pick up from the airport and drop off at the Port for my cruise. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, check in was a breeze. The rooms could use a little updating but overall it was clean and quiet. I would absolutely stay there again if I was going into the Cruise Port.

Terrible service, had to wait in line for a ridiculously long time, and wait 45 minutes for the shuttle. Clearly they do not care about people. Only plus was convenient to the airport and the onsite restaurant was passable.

The shuttle went right by us and didn’t pick us up. Waited over an hour. The whole process very unorganized. The check-in at the hotel was the slowest check-in we have ever experienced. The clerk at the front desk gave us two free drink passes however it was too late for us to drink. He said we could get bottled water. However, they were out of bottled water. We would never ever recommend this property.

We did the early check-in with the extra fee and it was worth it. This is definitely a busy hotel, having the bar attached has decent options for hot food. Live music on the weekends. Definitely convenient, clean and safe.

Travelled with family and small children
We had a flight delay that caused us to arrive very late. The shuttle closed at 12:45 am and when we landed I called to say we landed. The shuttle driver literally screamed at me and verbally assaulted me on the phone because I called before I got my luggage. He said he wouldn’t wait for us. He then called me back and screamed at me again saying he wasn’t waiting I shouldn’t have called yet. Called me a third time saying he’s outside I need to get done there now or he’s leaving. After all that we get into our room and find a live cockroach on our pillow.

The complimentary transfers from the airport and then to the cruise ship were ran so efficiently - fabulous perk! Also the staff was over the top pleasant when we checked in! Great place to stay!
