Motel was outdated. Ice machines broken and the worst was we didn't want to open any of our luggage due to seeing a roach crawl across the floor.

My earlier review got cut off. It said I am giving 2 stars due to the front staff. What I was trying to say was this: I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because of the front staff, which was very friendly and accommodating. The girl at the desk was on the ball. However this property needs to do something about: 1/ Cockroaches in the rooms 2/ Not having rooms fully stocked prior to check in with things like pillows, towels, toilet paper, and soap. I went the entire trip with no towels and no soap as they were not available. There was a gentlemen in his truck smoking profusely and the smoke filled my room all day/night long, and as someone recovering from a stroke this was not good. I've checked out and the next day my chest/lungs hurt. Can't say I felt 100% safe at this property either. It felt a little sketchy. I mean what do you expect it's the cheapest hotel in broward country so you get what you pay for I guess at least I got to have a nice conversation with the resident cockroaches. Oh and there are chickens and some cats roaming around. So if you like animals that would be a plus. So not the best experience overall.

First night I did not get a key. Told I had to have desk let me in and out. Bathroom filled with black mold. No chair to sit, no place to put clothes, no ice machine working, pool closed. People at desk dont care.

took an hour to check in because none of the rooms were ready, when we did get a room it had no bedding, curtains on the nightstand, trash left and no working tv, had to wait another 30 minutes for a different room, seemed a little understaffed but they were still as helpful as they could be, place was completely out of soap said they needed to “order more” no towels in the room either, on the upside they had some kitties on the property and ducks, pool was unfortunately out of season though, also our deadbolt didn’t work and the door barely closed all the way, like you could completely see through the crack of the door on the side, and that slide latch lock thing that also comes on hotel doors was loose like someone had tried to kick the door open or something, there’s a sign saying to deadbolt and latch your door at all time and i could barely do either so that made my safety feel slightly compromised as there were sounds and people roaming all throughout the night

Animals poops every where very dirty. We walk in the room was terrified. Door was unsecured, broken toilet, uncleaned, blood in the toilet. Smells so bad. Stayed in many motel 2star but not like this one. Pictures online completely different. End up walking out. Find other place to sleep. The clerk was very nice. refund my money.

The room looks nothing like the picture, the toilet was running all night, the tv didn't work and it felt like a grifter hotel. For the first time ever, I really didn't feel very safe there. Slept uneasily with everything I had against both doors. Reception desk was ok.
