Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Rooms are very small and I do think the prices shot up with it being marathon weekend too drastically for what you get. This is a budget, value hotel and I paid around £280 for one night which is far too much with what is on offer within the hotel.

Very small but sufficient for needs - on a v expensive weekend for hotels in Edinburgh it was reasonably priced - walls are quite thin so noisy when neighbours arrive and leave and no lift so quite hard to lug suitcase up and not for limited mobility

My room was super tiny & had no windows but it was very clean & safe. The staff were all friendly & helpful. My only minor complaint is that there is no elevator here, long flight of stairs up & down with luggage. The location is excellent.

Very clean and compact . Didn’t have the greatest view but only spent a night there. Helpful staff. Had a lovely stay but was on my own in the room , maybe if two people for a longer period it may not have been so suitable . Loved the fact I could leave my heavy rucksack at a minimal expense pre room allocation at 3. Gave me the chance to enjoy the city without hassle. Honestly loved the bijou room . Perfectly situated .
