We checked into the Westin at the Detroit airport because we had several hours before our flight and needed a bit of rest. We had just dropped our son off at college and it was an emotional goodbye. We arrive late because of a flight and we felt at check in like we were disturbing the employee. No information about the hotel were given to us, she also asked us for a security deposit without giving the amount or any explanation. The bed was old and uncomfortable. Won’t go back to this hotel, for the price it’s not worth it.

We were stuck in the Detroit airport overnight unexpectedly. Our stay at the Westin was incredible! From the food in the bar at midnight to the unbelievably comfortable bed, the stay was wonderful. They have a security check point at the exit of the hotel into the airport which made for a very smooth morning.

The only thing that needs improvement is the parking. Other than that this is an amazing place to stay. Walking distance to delta airlines. A quick shuttle to all other airports. I was extremely satisfied
