The coffee is terrible. It’s made with a Keurig machine which you have to prepare yourself. Has the customary package of 2 packets of regular sugar, 2 packets of generic Sweet and lLow, and 2 packets of knock off powdered cream!!AND has the nerve to cost $6.50 per cup!!! This is absolutely wrong! The ambiance and room amenities were fine. Had a hiccup on the last day. Housekeeping partially cleaned our room, left no towels and did not makeup the bed. Minor inconveniences, but irritating. Overall rating is 3.5 out of 5

I had two random men walk into my room R 3am while I was making my bed sleeping. Because front desk checked them into the same room that they booked me in and gave them room keys to enter my room. Then they did nothing to compensate me after I went downstairs to get front desk mortified after it happened. They just simply told me they would switch rooms for the two gentlemen and I can return back to the same room. I went back to the room and the room key I had no longer worked for the room because they had activated keys for the men to enter my room. I went back to front desk and they still did no compensation only gave me new room key. I ended up leaving my the hotel room at 4am because as a woman who is alone in the room by herself, I no longer felt safe or comfortable staying in that room or hotel altogether. I can’t even believe something like that would happen and for them to take no accountability is crazy.

They don’t have Netflix so you have to order movies the WiFi is terrible the hot water only works half the time beautiful room subpar amenities they don’t even have a microwave heavily overpriced

The hotel is situated in a great area for walking to many places in Downtown Detroit. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very relaxing. Running out of HOT water is a problem that management needs to handle quickly, and there is no excuse for the amount of money you pay to hear from guest services that it is probably because so many are showering at the same time. That would be excusable if staying at a Days Inn for $79 a night. Sounds like it has been a problem for quite some time. Also, when sitting for breakfast in the lobby, the food and coffee were just lukewarm. The service was great the food was not. The background music during our breakfast was an employee sweeping the carpets and the entranceways where guests come in, next to the seating area where you are dining. This is our second stay at the hotel, and unfortunately, we will be looking elsewhere when we come to the D again.
