The room and the staff were excellent! I was in town for the Dave Koz concert at the Music Hall, which was fantastic! Staying at Indigo was just the icing on the cake!

The room was clean and relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. That being said, the bar was very poorly stocked, few only a few choices. Also, the toilet in my room wasn't working properly and there was no one available to. fix it, so I checked out early. Had another booking for April, but canceled it. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

⭐☆☆☆☆ We had a very bad experience at Hotel Indigo. We slept very poorly because the mattresses are unusable — ours had a deep hole in it. We woke up with back pain after a very uncomfortable night. We paid for a room for four people, and on top of that we were charged for a plate at breakfast even though breakfast was supposed to be included. The hotel also does not include parking, and you have to pay an additional $40 for parking, which was not clearly explained. The room was also poorly stocked: there was no body wash, only two shampoos and one conditioner, which is unacceptable for a room for four guests. Overall, this hotel is overpriced and does not meet basic comfort or service expectations. I would not recommend staying here.

The rooms are in rough shape, especially the bathroom. Elevators were hit or miss. Doors didnt open all the way. Rough crowd occupied most of the hotel.

Everything went wrong. The room was horrible with a stinky smell. The bathroom sink was dripping water constantly everywhere. Ugh. The coffee that was supposed to be in the room wasn’t there and the worker that worked there was too dam lazy to replace what was not there. I was told that you have to ask for Housekeeping. Never at any other Hotel that I stayed at. I had to request for Housekeeping. Ugh. Then you send me a Wannabe Housekeeper that don’t know English. Ugh. I had to show this lady what a broom was. Yuck. Then I complained and nothing was done but a complementary breakfast that I chose not to partake in. Then the tv goes out from showing regular channels and when I called the desk they said maintenance is not there. So I had no tv. Y’all facility stink. Service Stink. Had to take trash out myself. After the money I spent at this dumb. Had to do things that should had been done by the employees. UGH. My four days was Nuts. UGH🙄 Much more happpened but what are y’all going to do. Nothing. UGH 😑 I f I could leave no stars that is what it would be. UGH 😑

Helpful staff and great distance to the best parts of downtown Detroit. Modern decor and an overall positive stay - only negative was one of the rooms I’d reserved was not cleaned at all after the previous quest (unmade bed, dirty towels on floor and etc.), the staff very quickly moved rooms which solved the issue.
