This property is in serious need of a remodel. Smells like smoke as you walk in the halls, carpets are filthy, flooring in the halls and restrooms are in need of repair, mold, pop corn ceilings and walls (why?). Its a motel basically.

The ac wasn’t working very good. It stayed 83% all day and finally got to 71 at night. I set the temperature at 66. When we went to get breakfast Minnie seemed to care about helping, like asking for coffee and plates was a big task.

Don't Force me to the West Side Sonesta

There seemed to be a plumbing issue. I really enjoy the east location more than the west because it was well tended to. My toilet wouldn't flush during my stay and the ice machine in the refrigerator didn't work.

Employees were nice but not as described. My bathroom wall had a leak and mold. The bedroom vent full of lint. Bathroom tile on floor loose from moisture underneath. No carpet on floors as pictured when booking.

For what it is, it's a nice hotel. Inexpensive while not being a dump. Staff was nice. My only complaint is the outside doesn't match the inside. The outside and the lobby look good and fresh, the hallways and the room (at least the one I stayed in) were a bit worn down and my room smelled like cigarette smoke. Overall, a nice stay for what it was.

My stay at Sonesta Suites was ok. The staff was nice. The room could have clean. There was something that was on the walls of the bathroom and bedroom. There were no coffee cups in the room but there was a coffee maker. The pool was not clean, it was full of dead insects and hair.

It was….okay. Pulling up the cleaning ladies were outside giggling when I had trouble getting out of the car and walking in. There isn’t really a sign of where to go to check in. It definitely worked for what we needed it to. The breakfast was probably one of the worst that I have been to at a hotel. Thee hot items” are frozen breakfast sandwiches to heat up in the microwave. The dishwasher kept making noise the whole time and as far as I can see there is no off switch so it just beeps? Some people in the pool said they live there for 3,000 a month? It is weird in a sense that I feel like it’s a apartment community and not a hotel…I did end up with big bites all over me so idk if it’s fleas from when someone else was there? -I can provide pics if wanted. I don’t think it’s bed bugs. Now for the good. The air kicked ass! The pool was open an hour later than it said which was nice. Unfortunately their hot tube is closed and looks like it has been for a while. It would have been a GREAT addition to my stay-please consider reopening. The lobby is actually really nice! And when I get older ( currently in early 40’s) I want to be like the group of older elderly ladies that were waiting everyday for the pool to open with cigarettes and beer in hand. We LOVED their music and how they were just living it up. ☺️

We had a bulb explode in the fridge and got shards of glass all over the kitchen floor. The toilet flusher was messed up and would cause the toilet to run. Living room furniture was worn out.

Tennis trip

Our second stay at this location. Last year we were placed away from the main hotel, which I liked better. But convenience of a kitchenette made the drive into Mason for Cincy Open tolerable. Breakfast was poor quality. Coffee tasted like instant and not much to choose from in breakfast items. Bed was very comfortable.
