My wife and I, and our three grandchildren (ages 10, 8, & 4) stayed overnight Sunday into Monday. As with everything these days, prices have increased. GWL now charges for parking ($15) along with extra fees for most anything you want to do on the property in addition to the waterpark. Kiosks in the lobby, to expedite check in, weren’t very user friendly, and ultimately caused me to wait in another line to check in at the main desk. We went to bed at 10:00 Sunday night, anticipating an early start to our last day of fun. Although quiet time (hibernation time as they call it) is from 11pm to 7 am, our “neighbors” didn’t see the need to respect others and allowed their children to run, jump, scream, and slam doors. After about 35 minutes of this I contacted the front desk who assured me that security would handle the noise problem. Another 10 minutes went by and still no results so I got out of bed, went to the neighbors room, politely knocked on their door, and explained the noise issues. Another 10 minutes passed and the noise continued. Another text message was sent to the front desk and again I was assured that security would resolve the noise problem. A short time later I received a knock at my door and was met by two security personnel advising me not to go to the room where the noise was coming from but rather allow security to handle the situation. At 11:25 pm my third and final text was sent because of the continuing noise! This is unacceptable!
