The property was incredibly understaffed. There was only 1 person running the desk and 1 person for the restaurant and it was a sold-out week. I felt bad for them because they were running their butts off trying to keep up. Even being understaffed and very busy, they were very friendly! The burgers and fries were incredible!

Clean but very understaffed

Had a great deal of trouble checking in. They blamed it on us booking on Hotel.com. I’ve never had trouble checking in anywhere else. I tried to stay very nice because it seemed they were working very short staffed. As I stood there for over an hour waiting with two toddlers to check in, several people were turned away for extra towels and pillows. Then at breakfast there was a shortage on silverware and plates. The staff was very nice although this was stressful for them as well as those of us trying to feed our families. My pregnant daughter also slipped and twisted her ankle in a puddle of water that I believe was from people exiting the swimming pool with no towels to dry off. But the beds we’re comfortable and clean.

Pros: - Staff was friendly - Lobby was clean Cons: - Room was not ready when we arrived. I received an email about an hour later telling me we could check-in. Not a big deal, but somewhat annoying as we were expecting to freshen up after our drive. - The room smelled terrible, like someone had just run a carpet cleaner over urine. - Found food crumbs around the room and hair on the beds. - Parts of the ceiling were flaking off and part of the wall had come away. - The pool was dirty and murky. The water was FREEZING (yes, caps are necessary) Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again, especially at $280 a night.

Room was large, but the toilet set was broken. It was noisy outside. The indoor pool was ice cold and kind of dirty. They put a random charge on my credit card and couldn’t explain what it was for. No one returned my call when I asked. It took over a week to get the charge removed. The breakfast was good though.

Slightly disappointing.

First things first, check in was delayed. I understand it was after 10pm however, still, be prompted. We just drove 7hours. No directions how to get to the room were offered. We attempted to call the agent back by pushing the designated call button at the front desk, but no one ever came back. We had to figure it out on our own. The lobby is gross, floors disgusting and overall seemed a little dirty. Our room was okay- the mattress gave a nice sleep. However, not enough attention to detail cleaning. Razor shields were left in the shower and some hair around the tub. I also don't apprecaite not having a bedbug protector on the mattress. The carpet throughout the room was full of huge stains. Ice machine didn't work.
