The only problem was the elevator had a loud squeaking noise the entire time, property was not what expected from the site was looking forward to a hot tub did not have one very disappointing no menu for the restaurant was starving and wanted room service with no information about any of it dirty dishes and food in the hallway

I love staying at this particular location when I come home to visit. I know that Embassy Suites is going to give me a quality stay no matter what. I like this location in particular just because of its easy access to the northwest suburbs, decently close L stations, and free parking. Additionally, Embassy Suites is always golden for their happy hour and great breakfast.

Just had trouble getting conditioner in our shower the front desk notified cleaning 5 days in a row and housekeeping never filled bottles thanks to the front desk for having small bottles for the cost of the room should not have had to ask everyday

The property was in a great location. The two women who worked the front desk are great, but their managers did not do much. A long line was often formed; one person worked and dealt with the hostile customers while the managers watched and did nothing. When I arrived, they couldn't find my reservation, and the front desk clerk had to call a manager. It took him 45 minutes show up.

Hilton‘s computer system was down worldwide so we waited over an hour to check in because they were having to do everything by hand. They had no idea which rooms were available. Which ones weren’t and the process was long and drawn out.

We were here for a convention that lasted from Wednesday to Sunday. I'll start with the good and then end with the not so good. The made to order omelets at breakfast were a definite plus to this stay. They also had things like french toast, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, etc.. I loved this added extra. The beds were comfortable, the are the hotel is in is nice and safe and MOST of the staff was very nice and accommodating (I'll get to that later). However, we did have to change rooms twice, after a 16 HOUR DRIVE. The first room had no working safe and there were stains on the carpet and the sofa. They could not get us a working key for the second room and sent a maintenance person up and he could not even get into the room. Mind you, this is after a 16 HOUR DRIVE!! We got a third room and they had to come up and fix the safe again and there were stains on the sofa there as well. We were so tired we just kept the room. We decided to stay an extra night and reserved it the night before we were to leave and were told to come down, check out and then check back in in the morning, The person at the desk in the AM (Kenny) decided that during the AM hours on a Sunday, when everyone would be checking out, that he would update the system. Which meant I had to wait and be late getting to the last day of my convention. The kicker is, he did that update and proceeded to go get breakfast. That was very unprofessional. I gave 3 stars out of kindness for the other staff.
