The room was full of spots and stains the toilet was leaking the toilet was not updated inside mechanism flapper bad seal. I reset it several times during stay in the middle of the night You don't have hideaway beds for a guest like a granddaughter.thankyou for the extra pillows and blanket so she slept on the floor. Over all .not impressed with Hilton first time I stayed at one not a good value for the money spent didn't eat here too expensive for the value should have gone to Holiday inn or Best western for a decent breakfast complimentary for the same price or lower.

The staff, although understaffed, was polite and accommodating. The first night was a challenge due to a barking dog next door in the middle of the night. There is little soundproofing from the hallways because there is a large gap letting in light and sound around the door. We rectified this stuffing a towel underneath. The coffee was good. The breakfast buffet looked good although we didn’t partake in it.

DoubleTree Elk Grove is one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I’m not usually picky, but the room was clearly not cleaned properly—dust was everywhere, and there was visible hair in the shower even though I hadn’t used it. I tried calling the front desk and got no answer, so I had to go downstairs in person to report the issue, which was very inconvenient. On top of that, the layout of the hotel is odd—if you have luggage, be prepared to walk a long distance from the elevator to your room. What made the experience worse was the $50 late checkout fee. I had asked for a 12:00 PM checkout and left around 12:30 PM, but was still charged. They said “no matter how late you are, even a minute, it’s $50”—which feels excessive and rigid, especially when housekeeping wasn’t even nearby. Really disappointing experience, especially for a well-known hotel brand.

The hotel was dirty, less of cleaning was obvious fact about this place, one of the matters was very bad, a big sag in middle that caused backache. We have not received room service even when I asked towel at night. I also have a video for reference

A little disappointed.

Was in a room near the pool. The humidity in the hall and my room was uncomfortable. The stairs to the pool need treads as they were quite slippery and slightly angled. Wasn't a pleasant stay.

There were ants on my bed and in the room. Not the most pleasant experience. The door to the balcony all seems flimsy, not the safest.
