Great Location.

Buffet breakfast had a good variety and was fresh. Room and hotel in general was very clean. Bed was a little narrow and soft but otherwise the room was comfortable. Hotel witin easy walking distance of city centre.

Great stay

The staff were all fab. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was wonderful. If im being super critical, there were two bulbs out in the room but never got round to reporting.

Breakfast was amazing so much choice and the hot breakfast was piping hot. The staff were so friendly and helpful which was great as it was our first visit to Chester. The cleanliness and location of the hotel was spot on...would definitely recommend the hotel.

Disliked: Room comfort
Room was ok, but at the front if the hotel you can not sleep, the main road is just far to busy. Staff were very good and re located to a room on the rear if the hotel on the 2nd night. Trays were empty of food on the 1st morning, but all full the next morning. Very good location with parking at the hotel and very close to the centre, but I very much doubt I will stay here again unless I could guarantee a room at the rear of the hotel.

The only negative that I have with the hotel is having to pay extra for parking. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices, the room was clean. Close to sightseeing.

The ten pound parking charge on arrival was a big surprise,apparently it was mentioned on the site we booked with but was in such small letters we missed it just be aware this is a price per night. We have stayed here before and chose it because it was a five minute walk into the centre of Chester and it was just as good as our last visit. The staff from the carpark attendant, reception,cleaning and dining room where all great to deal with polite positive and very helpful. The hotel was well kept and the breakfast Had enough variety, the only thing letting it down was cold plates. Great place to stay for a few days the cathedral was wonderful and has a good cafe. The walk round the city walls was fantastic , the shambles is always a pleasure to walk round,so much history and fantastic buildings. We will be back to do the boat ride and all the other things we could not fit in on this trip.
