Comfortable stay spoiled by noisy ‘nrighbours’

The hotel and its amenities were great, thanks, and the room was very comfortable. Sadly, though, other patrons made so much noise in the corridor and their room overnight that our sleep was disturbed, which was especially annoying as we had wanted to get up early and use the pool before checking out to pay a last visit to our family, who are local. My daughter and I have stayed here before though, without having these sorts of problems.

Update please

The hotel is very convenient for access to Chester and has free parking. A must for Chester. The breakfast was good and plentiful and The leisure facilities are nice however the hotel is in need of an update all round. The pillows and especially the bed need to be renewed. It was kept clean so the service staff do a great job. Staffing isn’t over plentiful and you often have to go looking for them as they are utilised across the whole hotel.

The property was ideal for our break, very clean and well kept. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful and polite. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the sauna wasn't in operation but everything else was great and as described. We travelled to Chester by train and found the public transport and taxis very reasonably priced with the local buses stopping almost outside of the hotel drive. Had another nice stay in this hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed. We had a bit of an issue with the fish & chips that my partner had as a bar meal on the Sunday evening - more batter than fish! However, after discussion with the chef and the management, this was resolved satisfactorily. The pool/ spa area was lovely - and quiet on a Monday evening. Good and plentiful choice of food for breakfast. Very handy for the park & ride bus into the city centre. This was our second stay, and we’d choose this hotel again if going to Chester. Thank you.
