Lovely building and very classic in style. Very professional and friendly staff too. I’d stay again but some little things can be improved. The room I was in (1310 yet weirdly not on the 13th floor) needed more electrical outlets. USB outlets are pretty standard now. Better quality tea and coffee in the room too.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent value. Its right next to the station and easy to park if you have driven (extra cost), but about a 15 min walk into town centre. I loved that the hotel is Victorian, grand style, with lovely period design features. Very good value overall.

Hotel chose for closeness to railway station was so close across the road.Bus stop facing every 15 minutes to centre of town and shops .All types of shops close to the river lovely walk and boat ride.Hotel excellent clean staff really pleasant helpful food both evening meal and breakfast absolutely gorgeous.Would definitely go back again Fanulous garden for sitting out in the good weather .
