Excellent location. Come out the front door and you have the rugby stadium to your left and Cardiff castle to your right. 2 mins walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. Friendly staff, breakfast good, only downside was that the lifts were out of use while we stayed. Would definitely return to stay here again if visiting Cardiff.

Room was great,staff were brilliant,unfortunately the car park was shut which we were unaware of and a main reason of why we chose the Angel so we had to pay £30 which we hadn’t budgeted for so check before you travel,also the lift at the hotel was out of order but got a slight upgrade because of this,would stay there again

Ideally situated to access city centre. Booked standard double room though upgraded to suite on arrival. Room very spacious, comfortable bed. No complaints.

Dated and old fashioned, not very inviting musty smelling hallway. Hotel is in need of an upgrade and a lot of TLC. Noisy, could hear guests talking and banging doors during the night. Breakfast not appetising or appealing. Reception staff were helpful and polite and good location.
