I don’t know what the standards are for others but this hotel is brutal. I based my choice to stay based off the reviews. Very very old hotel “trying “ to be relevant. Old bathrooms, paper thin walls, homeless people living there.. I could hear the people above and next door straight up talking, clear as day. Noisy pipes and shall I go on!! Do Not stay here!

They claim to be pet friendly but don't give you "the form" when you check in and then charge you $200 for special cleaning after they see you walk in with your dog. The management on duty at the time left a lot to be desired.

I do like this property. The price is great, at times, the rooms are clean and the hotel is conveniently located for my needs. It is an older hotel and I see that they are doing some upgrades and replacing the carpet in the main area, which is nice. If I have anything to complain about, it's that this most recent visit, the breakfast buffet was not great. One might argue that it is after all, a 'free breakfast', however that is one of the reasons I book this hotel. I found the breakfast disappointing this time, not a lot of variety and of the two hot items, (boiled eggs and sausages), the eggs were actually not edible. It was like they were left in the warmer for hours, tough and actually a little brown on the outside.

I will never spend my money at another Super 8. I accidentally booked for the wrong date. They refused to help with a re-book or cancellation. Said Expedia needed to refund me. Expedia said Super 8 needed to refund me. Now someone has my money, and I got nothing out of the deal :(
