Very friend staff. I stayed in room 12 which was lovely and clean. No stains on carpets or walls. Clean toilet and shower. Free tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Bed sheets where clean, even a litte chocolates on the pillows. No horrible smells in the room, and a good size tv. Amazing for the price. I would definitely recommend. Close to livingston centre, and st Johns hospital.

Parking was fine receptionist was lovely room looked clean with fresh bedding then when my husband moved 1 off the pillows there was a flea on the other pillow which he killed was full of blood on further inspection another 2 fleas where on the double bed we left next morning and did not stay for the full weekend that we booked

Well I paid less than £35 for a single room only arrangement and it was worth it. Room was ok, nice and warm,car parking and reasonable WiFi. About the only thing that I noted that the shower head was quite black and needed cleaning, didn't bother me because it was a good deal for the price.

Position out of Edinburgh still gave easy access to Glasgow or Falkirk for the horses. The hotel was clean and useful for our stay in the area. Easy access to Edinburgh with public transport close by. Plenty of parking.

Outdated room, burn marks on the carpet, leaking radiator, room was cold. The toilet systern didn't flush nad also the the top of the systern was hitting the wall, rusty handles in bathroom.

Good. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews however, it was cheap, cheerful, can’t really complain. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but for the price we paid, it’s hardly worth mentioning. Towels weren’t changed which is fine, but one was taken and not replaced which was a bit awkward. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, can’t fault them. We did require assistance at around 10pm one night and no one was on the desk, however, they may have been at the bar, I just didn’t try there, as it was not important enough for me to go searching for someone. Overall, if you want something cheap, near to the train station, St John’s hospital, and the shopping centre, it’s a bargain. One other thing, they don’t have Uber there because it was killing local taxi companies business, but they do have very cheap and efficient private taxis for around the same price point, the staff were very helpful and provided a few numbers. I would recommended if you’re looking for something affordable and somewhere to rest your head. It’s no frills, but worth the money.
