Lovely stay, but the wine list needs improving.

The room was a good size and was well laid out. The bathroom gave plenty of space to put your toiletries. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. My only issue was, that a hotel, the size of this one, their wine list was pretty pathetic. There was only one Rose and a Prosecco. There were I think 4 types of red and four of white. I drink Rose and the one they had, is the one I dislike the most, so I had to change to a white. Was extremely disappointed.

The stay was ok. We had no hot water for the first day and a half which wasn’t ideal and we had a few issues with the room. Rooms weren’t very soundproof either so we were woken quite a few times by different parties passing our door at 3am. We had a patio door out to the garden which was great for the dog, and the reception were helpful when we had room issues. The restaurant was empty on the Friday night when we chose to dine there, but the food was really underwhelming for the price that it was.

Good pool. Room was ok for a night. Hotel lobby smelt like stale cigarettes but overall ok for a night. Hotels.com pin for directions not correct takes you to houses around the back of hotel so put hotel name directly into your own navigation system.

Lovely place to stay

Lovely friendly staff, excellent room with french windows. Free parking and they didn't charge me for my dog. I had a lovely meal which was reasonably priced. Overall lovely experience and would recommend.

This is a unique property away from the City but well worth the extra 30min drive. The breakfast area view is beautiful buffet is pretty good and the staff really nice. The surrounding area is green and pretty.
