The hotel was beautifully presented, the staff were friendly and very efficient. The room was lovely, immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the location on the seafront was great. Parking was easy too.

The room was perfect for our weekend away — spacious, spotless, with a huge TV and a really comfortable bed. The balcony overlooking the beach was gorgeous, and the little touches like the dressing gowns made it feel extra special. The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again.

I loved the location over the “white horses,” which refer to the wave crests in the ocean bay below the property. The setting is beautiful in the middle of a quiet village 10 minutes from Brighton & Hove. It sits over the white cliffs and an expanse of beach. Great opportunity to stay at a wonderful property! Nice breakfast at the restaurant, too!

Well what a little gem of a place! A colleague suggested we book it for a recent trip and I was not disappointed. The staff are amazing, you are welcomed and treated like a person not just another guest. I have a nut allergy and the resturant staff need no reminding once I had asked once. The rooms are wonderful and the little piece of treasure is a great surprise. Will definetly stay again for business or pleasure.

Lovely looking hotel- the only nice looking hotel/restaurant in the area. There is no direct contact number or switchboard so you have to walk down to the receptionist each time (also no lifts). Breakfast was over priced. A standard 12 pound breakfast included a buffet of cereal, toast, juice, 2 types of pastry and melon. An extra 6 pound so 18 pounds for a full english. There is a lot of road noise inside from traffic and rowdy late night people outside. Car park has limited spots as not exclusively for hotel guests. Due to it being in close proximiyy to the beach- if you drive off in the day no parking when you get back. Rotterdam is a run down beach town- a local chippy with a rating of 3, a tesco and lots of run down shops that have been closed. However, the only decent place to stay in rotterdam.
