Terrible experience. Staff charged £150 for damage for a small glass of wine knocked over by my partner who was just discharged from the hospital and knocked my drink whilst he was having an episode. We told the cleaning staff who were aware but did nothing about it. Disgusted behaviour which we will escalate.

This is the fifth hotel I've stayed at in Brighton in this price range, and it's the first one where the wifi signal is strong *and* I don't hate the shower! Therefore it is my new favorite hotel in Brighton. On top of that, it's just super charming. My room was cozy, I didn't have a view but I don't care. The bed was comfortable and there was no excessive noise. I did notice there didn't seem to be any kind of fan or air conditioning, so I might hesitate to stay here in warmer months. All of the employees I interacted with were very friendly and the building is gorgeous. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!

The room was clean but the bath was badly chipped and the toilet flush was not very efficient. There is a whole road with a variety of restaurants within 6 minutes walk. The breakfast was not included in the room price nor was the parking (£25 per night). The breakfast was £14.50 pppn and was a good quality with limited choice.
