The entire area besides the Main entrance was dirty unkept and full of pothole in the assault The area I was in had multiple drug interactions and prostitutes. The interior of my unit has the plastic wood flooring improperly installed, the Ceiling in the main room had an enormous patch that was not completed w/ holes and no Popcorn ceiling applied to match. Also the ceiling was falling down in the bathroom above the shower fixture and the shower pan was to tall above the floor for code and the drain was installed in the opposite end of the shower pan ( supposed to be under the fixture). And the shower curtain was a joke, completely useless allowing water to flood the floor. The height of the pan could cause injury exiting the shower due to it height and the emminant water that leaked from the shower curtain. And last was the decorated and crumbling at the bottom of the shower room with rusted door hinges. I am a retired General Contractor and this room was a construction nightmare, there was not a trade of work done in this room that a Homeowner would have done a better job. I would have left but it was Formula 1 weekend and the prices were exorbanatly high, and went to see a Concert at the Moody Center. I would never recommend my worst enemy to stay at this Wyndham Hampton. I would advise your company to examine this Wyndham and consider removing your Company on this property. John P. Toal

Booked via Expedia and arrived to a scary property that had no record of our reservation. The front desk staff was not helpful, not friendly, not accommodating, and didn’t have any solutions. Don’t stay here.

Never stay at this location. It was horrible in every aspect. I swear the floor has not been mopped in months. I asked them to mop it but they never did. I requested a toilet paper holder and extra towels and never received either. Keep in mind I went to front desk 4 times trying to obtain these items.

I booked a flight + hotel package through Expedia. About a week after purchase, I was notified that the original hotel was cancelled and that I would be moved to another property at no additional cost by Expedia. Unfortunately, the replacement hotel (Baymont by Wyndham) was far below the standard I expected when I booked my trip. The photos online looked somewhat similar to the actual room, but the overall quality did not match what was advertised. The hotel felt more like a stopover spot rather than a vacation stay. The surrounding area did not feel very safe or welcoming. Breakfast was advertised, but it was extremely limited — only cereal, toast, and coffee. The waffle maker had no batter available, so it felt misleading to say breakfast was included. The bathroom design was also impractical. The shower was placed so low that anyone over 6 feet tall would struggle to use it comfortably. Overall, this substitution was not a fair equivalent to the hotel I originally booked. I strongly recommend that Expedia ensures customers are moved to comparable properties in cases of overbooking.

The lady who greets guests is a terrible human being. She plays favorites and frankly should quit. Sam is the one person who sort of gets it. I guess I understand that their clientele is sort of rough generally but the staff brings any grief on themselves. But avoid the nasty lady (short, heavy, terrible attitude .. ) yeah she kinda ruined it for me.

The staff is great. They were all so friendly and welcoming. I had an extended stay there and they made me feel at home. There was limited parking on the side of the building my room was on but not a deal breaker. Great value along with great customer service.
