There was a problem with elevator 3 that operated floors 1-15 if I’m not mistaken. When going up it would drop down some once it got to floor 7, sit there for about 10 sec and then continue on. I and other guess notified the front desk on several occasions and the elevator was still in operation for my duration. The staff seem to have no urgency in the matter.

The hotel is a landmark! Besides the architecture, the other truly extraordinary thing about this property is that you have to pay for wifi. Who does that? McDonald's has free wifi. Staff were fine. The room was nice. The view was spectacular. It's affordable. A solid pick.

A LONG long time ago this was a dandy . But its showing age and neclect,Starting with the badly soiled carpet in the hallway, to MOLD at the ceiling over the shower. . Damaged restroom door, plus the TV was glitching like crazy

The staff members were very alert and helpful as well as friendly. Although still a great place to stay, the property is showing a bit of its age in terms of the carpets, moulding, and paint for the internal walls.
