I love staying here when visiting the Sunshine Coast! Everything is very accessible - walking, taxi, or Uber. Location is the key. I had a great view of the ocean. Reception is fantastic! Jessica, Calum etc are the best! Can't wait to return!

There are quite a few apartment blocks within the Oaks complex. It took us a few minutes to find the reception as it's tucked at the back. Had to call the night manager as we were told we would be texted the key safe code, after advising we probably would be arriving just after reception had closed. We didn't receive the code which was just a bit annoying. The car park space (for room 302) was extremely tight, between two pillars. Luckily our car is mid size but it's a squeeze to get in. Just something to note if you have a large 4WD. Neither bathroom had a hand towel. Not a big deal but it was just unusual. Other than that, a nice spacious, clean apartment that had everykthing we needed.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Mandolin. We had an ocean view so we had sun all day. The pool was a great temperature for a QLD winter and the spa and children’s pool were fabulous. The onsite managers and reception were responsive to our needs and pleasant to deal with. The bed was amazingly comfortable which you often don’t get when on holiday. Whilst the decor was a little dated, it was clean and had most of what we needed. We could eat out or cook in the fully self-contained kitchen. Situated across the road from the Alex Surf Club and beach, the position was fabulous. We like walking so we were happy to be half way between Mooloolaba and Maroochydore where there is plenty to do, see and eat. Highly recommend!
