Location was ideal for train and bus access. The hotel is old and the rooms are old and in need of updating but our room was clean. The room was comfy and clean. Our rooms were ready when we got there and they allowed us to check in early. It was difficult to find the car-park, but was secure when we did find it (right by the hotel, but a very small entry). Nice location. I would stay here again.

OK for an overnight stay. Not the biggest room, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was decent. Breakfast was fine but better to go earlier rather than later. Didn't realise the hotel had it's own car park, but the train station car park over the road was cheap enough.

Room was very good. Excellent choice of breakfast items. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Only drawback was in the bathroom. I am disabled and the walk-in shower needed a handrail and a shower mat for safety. I am sure we will be back sometime,it’s very convenient for bus or train travel.

Car park was full at the rear of building but they have another car park further up which we were not aware of. Staff were really friendly and bar was nice but a bit pricey.Breakfast was great and worth the extra to booking. Location is great for local shops and transport links. We would stay again if in the city.
