The city’s centrepiece is the 19th-century ’Iolani Palace, where Hawaiian Queen Lili’uokalani wrote Aloha Oe, the soundtrack to everyone’s tropical island daydreams. Across the street is the Ali’iolani Hale – to some it’s the Supreme Court, but for diehard fans of Hawaii Five-0, it’s police headquarters and the perfect place to continue your urban adventure.
